Oh, and another thing. I was taught that adverbs pertaining to frequency (as in 'always' above) go where 'not' would go - if you were forming the negative. So, "it has always been" rather than "it always has been". But I dunno, we're very lax 'round here. And often plain wrong, as Mudgie points out.
